Mahmoud Ahmadinejad speaking at the UN
Mahmood's controversial, yet to me perfectly reasonable and rational speech at The U.N. in which he questions the circumstances of 9/11, and the subsequent "War On Terror" and states that the domineering manner by which nations control and manage the world [namely through capitalism, sanctions, unilateralism and force ] has failed. [As is witnessed in the global uprisings and revolutions taking place]
I applaud him for being a true leader and having the strength, intellect and integrity to stand up to America and question it's actions. Too many other nations are fawning sycophants and follow America in blind obeiscance out of grovelling self interest.
An excerpt:
"Justice is the basic element for peace, durable security and the spread of love amonng people and nations. It is in justice that mankind seeks the realisation of his aspirations, rights and dignity since he is wary of oppression, humiliation and ill treatment. The true nature of mankind is manifested in the love of fellow humans and the love of all good in the world. Love is the best foundation for establishing relations amongst people and amongst nations. In making a world full of purity, safety and prosperity people are not rivals but companions.."
